The Ebb Tide is a locals' bar with an extremely loyal customer base. Their approach is simple: a blue-collar bar for decent, hardworking people with fair prices and an honest staff.

The banner outside The Ebb Tide, which reads "Good Friends and Good Spirits," does a perfect job of summarizing this establishment's philosophy.  With the same faces there night after night and The Ebb Tide's enthusiastic staff, you'll feel like your one of the family everytime you come in.

Don't miss the dartboards, pool tables, and karaoke machine inside The Ebb Tide, which will surely provide you with hours of entertainment.

Love it. It is a older crowd but i'm in my 20's and have been going in since i turned 21 and I love it there. Interesting people and i've never had any problems with rude customers. Everyone is welcoming and Ashley and Jake are the best bartenders in Annapolis!

I do the deadly duo.. start off at the cafe and then hang a right out the door and go do some kareoke at the tide. Not for the lightweights!

When was the last time you were in the Ebb Tide? Well if it's been awhile you are missing one of the best places in town. The food is great, the drinks are wonderful and the people are even better.
The back porch is a great place to sit even if you are not a smoker. 2 of the best murals I have seen in town are out back. Bad behavior is not tolerated.
This weekend 1/31/10 is the Madi Gras party no cover a great band and a caterer from New Orleans are coming in the profits go to the Red Cross to help in Haiti fun starts at 3:00.
The Ebb Tide is a hard place to beat for quality of food, drinks, people and prices.

Great place, real food, good people and beer.
What more do you want?
I am never disappointed when I go to the Ebb Tide, and I travel a long way to get there. Worth it every time.

Great place to hang and relax, if the bartenders stay sober and can keep the rif raff out. Great food and very clean. Good people, you can make a million or make a dollar it does not matter, Everyone gets along during Happy Hour. What is going on during the night is unacceptable. It needs to be fixed.

so i heard that were some not so nice comments going down on this site about my favorite place in the world, so i decided to come check it out. first the obvious needs to be stated this place has changed so much over the past 3 years. i suggest updateing ur site every 5 yrs for a more accurate guide to annapolis, a beautiful smoking area has been made outside with a breath takeing beach scene painted on the side of the building and a tiki hut with some familiar faces on it. drinking and smoking outside at a bar doesnt happen everywhere, let alone a comfy place to hang out. hands down id have to say we have the BEST bar food in town. we make homemade soups all year round, we are best know for our 1/2 lb juicy burgers. Our menu selection is huge something to satisfy everyone. (on a personal note.. we have scored a 100% from the board of health for the last 3 years. find me another bar that can say that id be amazed!!! something that i want to add that made me laugh when i read this was when u click the more info tab... it reads special thanks to chris loser. This explains EVERYTHING!! cant expect to get a good review when a former emplyoee who quit because he didnt want to take out his trash cans at the end of his shift AND got caught cheating on his wife at his place of employment numerous times. he was just the lowest of the low a real drag as a daytime bar tender. but rest assure he was replaced by a hawty with a smile that will empty ur wallet =P
this bar is really a great place that so many of us call our home. why dont u come down and check it out for yourself before taking someone elses word for it. i recommend thursday or friday for karaoke (voted best karaoke year after year) or try a saturday for band night for a unique vibe every week. we have lots of sunday football specials. either way come make up your own mind

The Ebb Tide is a great local bar with great food (the kitchen is spotless by the way). Those who have never been there (or have not been there in a while) are missing an opportunity for a place to relax and have a good time.
The bar was thoroughly cleaned with many upgrades when the smoking ban went into effect. The owners put a lot of time and money to making their customers feel more at home. (The picutres on this site are extremely old)

Don't take someone else's word, check it out for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

The entertainment there is awesome...if you find watching some drunk falling backwards on his/her barstool and crashing into the floor, entertaininment, that is. And drinkwise, don't expect anything fancier there than a shot of Old Crow with an umbrella. However, if you enjoy the amazing marguaritas at the Mexican Caffe next door, the parking at the Ebb Tide is perfect!...

This place gets a ton of feedback... It is because it is full of "rich and interesting characters"

Ebb Tide used to be called the 19th Hole. That was when Annapolis Roads was a premier golf course. Unfortunately for the last few decades residents of Annapolis Roads has put down any attempts to increase the quality of the Golf Course. There used to be a sweet clubhouse and community pool, but the residents turned their backs on the club. I am waiting for some Rich Foreigner to buy the club revamp it and make it a members only club for Annapolis Legislature.

To BIG CAT...since I am a resident clearly you know not what you speak of. The golf course quality was let go by the owners who did not give a rats you know what about it. They refuse to put any money into keeping it up and then wanted to sell it to a developer who wanted to turn it into a ball park! Our roads can not handle the traffic nor do we as residence want it in our development. Then they decided to try and sell it to another developer who wanted to put cheap box homes in.

Steve,

BA did classify it as "A lot Divey"

Obviously given that the place has been there since 1948 somebody likes it. Probably the original customers 2nd, 3rd and 4th generations. Sometimes you just gotta let your hair down son.

Bulldoze the place. Crime would go down 20% in 21403.

Actualy we have very little crime here. Everyone that has ever started any drug use, violence or any other illegal activity has been barred. I feel safer at this bar than any bar down town, or in the cities neighboring.
