Mcgarvey's, an old-style American Saloon located between Middleton tavern and Federal House, serves as a tribute to pilots and aviation.

McGarvey's is like an old friend- comfortable, casual and always a good time. Great wings and their crabdip is my FAVORITE in town...and I've eaten A LOT of crabdip. :)

It's really too bad you feel that way. I lived in MD for three months and the ONLY nice people I met in the entire time were the peeps I met @ McGarvey's. Beans is easily one of the best bartenders I've ever met, and I've met more than a couple...

great bar but needs to serve better food. Wings are good but everything else on the menu gets a C+.

If you ordered something besides the wings you would be impressed. By everything else gets a C+, are you claiming to have tried everything else. I have never had a bad meal at Mcgarvey's. I have taken clients and been here with family and always had an excellent experience. They definitely have the best oysters in Annapolis.

I have a wonderful time Every time I go to McGarvey's.
Always meet someone I haven't seen in a while or we're celebrating something special. Very attentive bartenders. Great food. Best atmosphere in Annapolis, classy.

Great place to catch up with familiar faces. Their new happy hour is right on. Best Oysters in the city. Definitely the highest quality. Cant wait to have orange crushes here in the spring.

Best Turkey lunch in town! Thursdays only. The real deal including Marvin's mashed potatoes. Great service that can get you out the door in 20 minutes! Lack of TVs is costing them revenue.

Can somebody explain to me why McGarvey's, when it's a slow night and there's almost no customers, still feels the need to blast angry music so loud I can't hear my friends?

Also, why do people think big beers are the cheapest thing in the world? It's a 32 oz beer... 2 pints, for what, 4.50? A draft for $2.25... not bad... but not not a raging special.

value is never in the price, it is in the atmosphere. I just got back from Dublin and I paid $7 per pint and it was the time of my life.

Mcgarveys used to be the place to go. Did not matter if it was Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday. I believe the staff you have makes a place. For the thousands of dollars I spent in Mcgarveys, I never once got a beer nor round on the house. I routinely waited in excess of 15 minutes to be acknowledged by a bartender who should not be working in any service industry. Worst of all everytime I opened a tab he asked me for my name-again. I am the guy that tipped 25% no matter how bad your service was. I am the guy that paid for every drink and brought friends to your place of business. I am the one who came in on a monday night with five friends when you had no business. I will not go back to Mcgarveys. There are 30 other bars in this town that I will give my money to.
